GREASE star Olivia Newton-John has revealed that she is fascinated by unidentified flying objects - and has even seen a UFO.

The 60-year-old - whose character Sandy sang Hopelessly Devoted To You in the classic teen movie - also reckons most Brits now believe in alien visitors.

Olivia claimed that she spotted a UFO when she was just 15. She said: "I have seen one when I was very young. It was unidentified and it was flying."

She recalled how the brilliant silver object flew across the sky at "amazing speeds".

Speaking to The Sun ahead of a trip to Britain next week, the star revealed her infatuation with extra-terrestrials.

She said: "It's true, I'm intrigued by them."

Olivia - who also played a mythical goddess in Eighties fantasy flick Xanadu - said: "I have seen so many shifts in belief systems over the years."

"In England, most people now think UFOs are possible. Twenty years ago, how many people would have thought that?"

Her Grease co-star John Travolta is part of the Scientology cult, which believes humans are exiled aliens called Thetans.
