From UFO Casebook:

I just recently received this report from Poland, and because translations are fair at best, I will only relate the very basics of the report, and publish the picture, which says a lot by itself, if legitimate. (B J)

I want to thank Tomek Wierszalowicz, of www.uforaport.prv.pl , who has been an indispensable go-between in this investigation. He has worked hard to get permission from the newspaper (Wiadomosci Brzosteckie) to publish the pictures, and has sent me all the photographs on this report.

The sighting occurred on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at 14:00 hours. The unidentified object was first noticed as it flew above the city of Skurowa at an extremely high altitude. Then it changed course and flew over a market. The initial photos were taken while the witness (who maintains his anonymity) was in his garden, but when the object began to move away, he looked for a better vantage point.

He quickly ran to his balcony, and took several more photos of the object. As the photos were taken, the object was not very clear to the witness, who hoped that the film would show the object good enough for study. The report stirred enough publicity in the area that a local newspaper carried the report with photograph. The witness is soliciting corroboration from others, through the newspaper, who saw and/or photographed the unknown object.

From Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research

Date: July 26, 2003 Time: 2:00 p.m.

The unidentified object was first noticed as it flew above the city of Brzostek at high altitude. Then it changed course and flew over a market in the center of the city.

The person who made this photograph said that he was outside at his home when he saw this strange for him object. He call it fantastic! The witness took a few photographs from his garden outside his home. The photographer of the object quickly ran to his balcony, and took several more photos of the object.

The motion of this object was up and down. The object moved to the center of the small city and flew forward and away. The witness took about 10 photographs of this object.

Reaction of the newspaper "Wiadmosci Brzosteckie" wrote that they saw the pictures and they are the original photographs and asked the readers for their thoughts.

Also HBCC UFO Research would like to thank the Redactor newspaper.

HBCC UFO Research would like to thank Tomek Wierszalowicz at: www.uforaport.prv.pl for bringing the story out for everyone to read and to view the photos.

Additional comments from Rense.com:

The photographer was an elderly gentleman who subsequently was quite ridiculed by the people of his small town because of the pictures, which ran in the Polish newspaper Wiadomosci Brzosteckie (reporter: Jozef Nozal).
