2007 Sighting Reports

Date: Tuesday, June 15.
Location: Sudbury, Ontario.

Here's an e-mail I received a few days after this event:

"Tuesday night, I went to Cranky Joe's with some buddies.... we were on the patio when my friend points out two stange lights following each other in sequence. L
ooking in the sky, they looked just like satelites, slightly bigger, but why two following each other at the exact same pace. Not planes and not jets, too far past the atmosphere. From us judging it, about 2 inches maybe less apart from our point of view, but defenitely would make the space to be about 100 meters or so apart from where they were.

Other people on the patio were seeing it too and were like...wow you don't see that everyday. I joked to my friend and said "I better call my ex co-worker, the ufo investigator."

Exactly like a satellite....but it was just weird how fast they were moving, about 1 and a half times the speed of a satelite, and going in the exact same path; a little less than double the size

Tuesday night, I finished work around 11 pm and when I got there and on the patio, it was around 12 or 12:30 pm.

From cambrian heights area towards new sudbury-kingsway area, but obviously could have been miles away just going in that general direction.

There was a lamp post when it got over the general area where the bingo hall is and then we just lost it, looking up and the light blocked us from seeing the sky."

Date: First week in October.
Location: Sudbury, Ontario.

At around 10 p.m., a witness saw an oval-shaped object, maroon in color, with no lights and no sound, which appeared to be at about 10,000 - 15,000 feet. It traveled at a moderate speed. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds until it was obscured by clouds.

Date: October 3.
Location: Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.

The following report was made to me on October 23, 2013, via Facebook.

"On October3, 2007, I was getting out of my car at an establishment in Soo, Ontario. I observed 2 men standing at the entrance; one was smoking a cigarette but the other was looking straight up to the sky. I then looked up and observed a thin, dark rectangular object traveling slowly from NW to SE. The sun had just set minutes before, so there was still a clear blue sky (no clouds) and no wind. I determined the object to be between 3000 and 7000 ft in altitude. It silently flew in this direction and we observed it for 45-55 seconds. I'm familiar with all types of aircraft and this was something that, at that altitude, had to be the size of a football field. I can't believe we were the only ones to see it, but I checked the papers and heard of no one else reporting it."
